I love shooting senior and family photos.  I love the look on people’s faces when they look at an image and they don’t just see the faces, they get a glimpse of that person’s personality.

Photography, for me, is about capturing those moments between the poses where the guard is dropped, the façade fades away, and what is left is not how you look but who you are. 

I feel the most joy when a client looks at an image and says, ‘this is him’ or ‘this is her’.  They relive the emotion of a moment passed.  When an image invokes a memory, then I know we got it right. 

 

My goal is not just to capture images, it is to preserve memories.
